Rumsey Hall’s Upper School actors delivered a lively performance of 15 Reasons Not to Be in a Play, this year’s fall production. The witty, fast-paced comedy gave students the chance to showcase strong ensemble work, sharp timing, and confident stage presence.
Under the direction of Morgan Rubin, who leads Rumsey’s Upper School Music and Performing Arts department, the cast brought each vignette to life, from the playful debate about saving all devotion for their classmate Travis (a moment that drew some of the biggest laughs of the night) to the humorous warning about getting stuck in an unforgettable tree costume. Students also supported the production behind the scenes through stage crew, lighting, sound, and set work, contributing to a smooth and engaging show.
The fall play is a cornerstone of Rumsey’s Performing Arts program, and this year’s cast embraced the opportunity to collaborate, take creative risks, and develop their skills on stage.
Congratulations to the performers and crew on a fun and memorable production!
