After attending online school for almost a year since the spring of 2020, I was eager to go back to the Rumsey campus for the spring term of my Senior year, back to the community I loved. I cherished each day at Rumsey, each walk from Hilltop to Farmen Dining Hall, each Senior barbecue, each crew practice, each common room talk with Ms. Dufresne, and each meeting with my advisor Mrs. Mandl.
My Senior year at Rumsey taught me the value and the gift of community: it makes our lives better and more meaningful even during difficult times. I am very grateful for Rumsey for all the memories, lessons, and life-long friendships. My experience there has impacted me in so many positive ways.
