
Gregory Dunbar
Lower School STEM
Greg Dunbar brings extensive experience in STEM education to Rumsey Hall School, where he teaches STEM to students in Pre-K through 5th grade. He is dedicated to the program he developed, which integrates science, technology, engineering, and math into the elementary curriculum, enhancing it with a skills-based approach that enriches the student experience. Mr. Dunbar was instrumental in writing and updating the PK-5 STEM curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and adaptable.
He holds an M.Ed. in K-8 Science Education with a concentration in STEM Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an M.E.S. in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a B.S. in Landscape Architecture. Additionally, Greg is certified in Project-Based Learning, Environmental Architecture, and holds certifications as a Certified Educator – Level 1 (Google), Apple Teacher, and Green Classroom Professional.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Dunbar enjoys a variety of interests, including outdoor and indoor sports, photography, fishing, and woodworking.
