Giving

Your generosity has a direct and lasting impact on our students' experience by strengthening the School's culture of Effort, Family, and Community. Thank you.

Rumsey Hall strives to instill a sense of belonging in all current and future community members and establish an environment where they feel safe, respected, and valued.

Rumsey Hall School is grateful for the generosity and loyalty of our alumni, parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, and staff. As an independent school, we rely on our community to keep us thriving, and we are deeply thankful for the gifts of time, talent, and resources offered by so many members of the Rumsey family. These individuals provide vital resources to our faculty and students as well as the many programs that Rumsey offers.

Donate to our Annual Fund

Unlike public schools, which receive state or national funds, Rumsey Hall depends solely on tuition income and contributions to the Annual Fund. A robust Annual Fund is a crucial means for enhancing the lives of our students and plays a pivotal role in their educational experience. Dollars raised through the Annual Fund help support Rumsey students in a direct and immediate way and ensure program enrichment and campus improvements.

The 2023-24 Annual Fund campaign opens in the Fall of 2023 and closes on June 30, 2024. Gifts made via USPS must be postmarked by June 30, 2024, and online gifts must be received by June 30, 2024, to be included in the 2023-24 Annual Fund. For more information, please contact Director of Advancement Ben Pastor P’27, ’29 at bpastor@rumseyhall.org or 860-868-0535 ext. 187.

Dormitory

This beautiful new dormitory located next to the Main House on the hill above Farmen Hall will add fourteen student rooms and three faculty residences to our residential life program. Large and well-lit common spaces will allow for our students to gather and interact, to play, and to study.

Bodling Academic Center

Located on the site of the current Fitch House dormitory, this new academic center will provide four much-needed classrooms to support our academic program, two faculty residences to enhance our residential life program, and spacious locker rooms below for our female athletes, conveniently located next to the athletic fields.
