Woodworking Creates Gifts for Senior Class

Students at Rumsey Hall can experience the joy of creating a functional work of art from wood with their own hands. There are multiple clubs and Afternoon Enrichment Programs jam-packed with a variety of engaging and unique options for students to participate in. In the woodworking class, our seasoned craftsmen from the maintenance department, Gary Lord and Jeff Traver, take time out of their day to instruct students in safe handling of tools and the basics of assembly and construction in woodworking. Recently, Senior students assembled chairs to be used as gifts dedicated to the senior class this year!
