Ms. King's book club had a special treat this week: author Madeline Miller zoomed in to class to discuss her book Circe. She discussed how writing, theater, acting, and her love for mythology helped her to understand and grasp the mind of the main character-Circe.

Miller also provided excellent advice for future writers, to read as much as you can and to expand your horizons. She even talked to Ms. King's Beta class sharing her insights and outlook on Latin and the Ancient World!

Fun fact: Madeline Miller was Ms. King's Latin teacher in High School!
