Students Spark Joy Through Card-Making Project
Rumsey Hall students put their card-making skills to work in support of a creative community service initiative. The Rumsey Hall Card Making Project, created by Elina Choi '19, encourages students to craft heartfelt cards for Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK), a charitable organization that aims to bring joy and hope to hospitalized children nationwide.
During a weekend event on campus, day and boarding students collaborated to make cards using provided materials while enjoying snacks and hot chocolate. Day families were also involved in creating cards from home.
The completed cards were collected by Mr. Ough, Director of Community Service, and sent off to CFHK, who will distribute them to hospitalized children throughout the US. This was an enriching opportunity for students to come together in support of a good cause, while exercising some creative muscle!
