The Snowstorm of Reading event is a Rumsey school-wide tradition that invites the whole community to share what they have been reading. Everyone is welcome to create a snowflake in the library with their name, the title of a book, and the author of a favorite book they have read over vacation. These snowflakes are all then hung in the white birch branch in the library. At Rumsey reading is a foundational element of our culture. With intention, we infuse the love of reading into our curriculum, academic programs, and community interactions.
