Rumsey Hall is proud to celebrate a national spotlight on two extraordinary members of our performing arts faculty. Krystyana and James Czeiner, Juilliard-trained and Grammy award-winning musicians, were recently featured on NBC’s Today Show, highlighting their remarkable careers and ongoing contributions to music education.
Krystyana Czeiner, a violinist and violist with deep roots in both classical and contemporary music, has performed on stages such as Carnegie Hall and the Aspen Music Festival. Her versatility and artistry have earned her a Grammy and credits on platinum and gold-selling records, including Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V.
James Czeiner, also a Juilliard alum, is an accomplished performer, producer, and engineer whose work includes collaborations with music icons like Mariah Carey, Quincy Jones, and Bono. He won a Grammy for his work on Ludacris’s Release Therapy and has spent his career making classical music accessible through both performance and education.
Together, Krystyana and James lead Rumsey’s orchestra ensemble, enriching our community with their world-class experience and deep commitment to the transformative power of music.
