Throughout the month of February and in celebration of National Heart Health Month, Lower School students polished their jump roping skills and discussed the importance of fitness and cardiovascular health in their Physical Education and Health classes. This heart-healthy study culminated on the morning of February 7th with our annual Jump Rope for Heart event to benefit the American Heart Association. Students cycled through a series of eight stations in which they jumped continuously for one hour. A huge thank you to Mrs. Dyball for organizing the event! The support of Rumsey's family and friends has once again helped fund the American Heart Association's life-saving efforts in research and education. This year we raised $6,171.22!
