Rumsey Students Collaborate with Students in Westport to Share Their Love of Literature
Seven Rumsey students (IInd and IIIrd Form) worked on a collaborative project with grade 4 students from Saugatuck Elementary School in Westport. Each group of students worked (safely and productively!) with their school's librarian to create audio recordings to entice other students to read the 2021 Nutmeg Elementary Nominee books! We held a Video Premiere Party for all of the Voices Behind the Nutmegs participants, their parents, teachers, and administrators using Google Meet to watch the final video together before it went live. The fifteen students who shared their voices are already working on creating positive digital footprints for themselves!
Rumsey initiated a Color Point Challenge to guess who the Rumsey voices are behind the books. Students who participated in guessing the Rumsey voices earned color points for their team!
