SUMMARY:Lower School Student Council: Dream Car/RC Car Day
DESCRIPTION:The Lower School Student Council is excited to host our very first Dream Car/RC Car Day! Students can earn color points by bringing in a drawing or photo of their “Dream Car” to share during the school day and at lunch. Students who participate may wear play clothes. Those who do not bring in a Dream Car drawing or photo should plan to be in regular school dress. \nAs an added bonus\, students are welcome to bring in an RC car (if they have one) to enjoy with other RC car enthusiasts during recess on the field. We’ll even have a few high-powered cars on hand for special demonstrations.

SUMMARY:Dress As Your Favorite Idiom Spirit Day
DESCRIPTION:The Lower School Student Council will host our third annual “Dress as Your Favorite Idiom” Spirit Day! Instead of wearing Formal School Dress\, students are invited to come dressed as an idiom and be ready to explain it to others. This is your chance to get creative and have some fun! For example\, you could dress as “smarty pants” by attaching Smarties (or their wrappers) to your pants\, but that’s just one idea. There are so many clever and imaginative ways to bring idioms to life. \nShow your Blue Dog spirit and earn points for your color team by participating!\nStudents who choose not to participate should come in Formal School Dress.

DESCRIPTION:IInd Formers can wear PJs to school as I’ll be cooking them breakfast (auction item) during arrival time! Using Claire Foley’s breakfast plan as my guide\, students will be welcomed by the delicious smells of homemade pancakes (including some with chocolate chips)\, scrambled eggs\, crispy bacon\, toasted bagels with cream cheese and butter\, and strawberry-banana smoothies. It should be a fun\, cozy\, and relaxed way to start the morning together.
