Faculty

There are 58 full and part time faculty members (28 men, 30 women). 40 faculty members reside on campus.  50% of faculty hold advanced degrees.

 

Enrollment

The 2014-2015 School population is made up of 338 students from 24 local communities, 15 states, 14 countries. The Lower school (grades K through 5) enrolled 82 Day students and the Upper School (grades 6 through 9) enrolled 256 students (139 Boarding/117 Day).

 

Fees 

The tuition for boarding students in 2014-2015 is $51,465 Day student tuition is $24,190 for grade 3 through grade 9; $19,665 for Kindergarten (full day) through grade 2.  There is a $5,715 tuition for the Language Skills Program and a $7,350 tuition for the English as a Second Language Program. For the year 2013/2014 approximately $1 million in financial aid was awarded.

Facilities

The physical plant includes 32 buildings on 147-acres along the Bantam River, valued at $30 million. The campus includes Upper and Lower School Academic Buildings, Fine Arts Building, Performing Arts Center, nine dormitories, seven athletic fields, two gymnasiums, hockey rink, as well as three indoor and three outdoor tennis courts. A new Dining Hall/Campus Center and Health Center are currently under construction.
