Parents' Weekend Joins Family and Community Together
Benefit Auction Exceeds Expectations
In a fitting start to a successful Fall Parents’ Weekend, the Rumsey Hall community came together with infectious enthusiasm on the evening of October 12th for the School’s 28th Annual Benefit Auction, “Balloons Over Rumsey.” Dozens of volunteers gave selflessly of their time to transform The Magnoli Gymnasium into a colorful dining room, providing the perfect venue for the silent and live auctions featuring a wide variety of compelling donations from exciting vacations to helicopter and hot air balloon rides. The 230 guests including trustees, alumni, current and past parents, grandparents, faculty and long-standing friends of the School, lifted their paddles and spirits high, lending just the right magic to raise $290,000 in support of School Programs.
