Placement Announcements 88% of the Class of 2007 Earns Acceptance to Their Top Choice School

Our secondary school placement process has been designed expressly for our seventh form (ninth grade) students. Our full-time Director of Secondary School Placement works closely with each family beginning in the spring term of the sixth form year. The goal is to obtain the best possible "fit" for each young graduate to continue to grow and develop mind, body and character. The Director works with the students, the families, the teams of teachers, and the secondary school admission officers in order for our graduates to find and experience the best secondary years possible.

We offer workshops for students and parents examining and preparing for the various aspects of the secondary school admission process. We meet in large and small groups, students and parents as well as individually to determine the strengths, talents and need of each family. Our emphasis is on advising and guidance.

In addition, so that the Director has a complete understanding of the cultures and demands of secondary schools, he is able to visit over twenty five schools each year and over sixty secondary schools from coast to coast regularly visit our campus. Rumsey Hall has relationships with secondary schools that date over one hundred years and we are proud to be a part of the success our graduates have in secondary school.
