Activity Weekends

A student is permitted to leave campus for an Activity Weekend on Friday after all academic and athletic commitments have been met. Please consult the athletics schedule well in advance to avoid conflicts.

• There are no Saturday classes on these weekends. Instead, a variety of educational and recreational activities are scheduled.
• During the week prior to an Activity Weekend, each class meets Monday through Friday without skip-days. Extra help sessions and supervised study halls are incorporated into the schedule.
• A schedule of planned activities for the weekend is announced in advance at a School Meeting. Day students are sometimes invited to participate in the activities scheduled for an Activity Weekend. Day students should inform the office if they will be participating.

Weekend travel plans must be communicated to the Travel Coordinator, Rachel SanFanAndre or 860-868-0535 ext. 124 by noon Thursday. Failure to do so may jeopardize your child’s timely departure.

SATURDAY STUDY HALL ON ACTIVITY WEEKENDS

Students assigned to Saturday Study Hall will be required to attend a supervised study hall from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in order to make up missed assignments and complete Monday’s homework.

All Activity Weekends end Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m.
