COMPUTER AWARENESS
This is a trimester-based course for Upper School students which meets two periods per week. Students are introduced to information technology and various issues of computer literacy. The course combines hands-on experience with opportunities for students to discover the influence that computers have on their lives.

Students begin by mastering key-boarding and word processing skills. Upon successful completion students may take courses in databases, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, programming in VISUAL BASIC and controlled research on the Internet.

Our research center and math computer lab have 31 IBM NetVista X40 1 GHz computers, each with Pentium III processor, 256 MB Ram, CD-Rom, 40 GB hard drive and 15" flat screen monitors.
